Denise Shearer

British Voice Over Artist

A London native, Denise Shearer is a Voice Artist and Audiobook Narrator, who resides in New York City and London.  Ms. Shearer spent her early career in Event Planning where she applied her creative skills and energy to arranging unique and interesting events for several profit and nonprofit businesses.  Her lifelong passion for literature and the arts, especially theatre, led her to a new career as a Voice Artist and Audiobook Narrator.   Ms. Shearer specializes in British accents where she has done voiceovers for Public Service Announcements, as well as radio and television commercials.  

Amongst many projects Denise has narrated two books on Playboy and in particular “How Hugh Hefner and Playboy changed the Face of Music”. 

A lifelong passion for travel and animals, Ms. Shearer particularly enjoys safaris and actively supports animals by fostering orphan elephants in Kenya. Ms. Shearer is often seen in the Upper East Side with her beloved poodle, Berti, walking or enjoying an outdoor café with her latest book in hand, or with a good friend and their pets.
